Gabriel's Inferno - Sylvain Reynard This book was tiresome at times. Ok… Ok… We get it. You know your “stuff” when it comes to Dante and Beatrice. We did not have to be reminded every other page. It was like the story came second to the history lesson. A little here and there was poetic – but it just kept going on and on. I think the author was trying to give deeper meaning to the plot, but unfortunately I found it distracting at times. (And don’t get me started on the POV bouncing around – you sometimes had to back up a sentence to be sure what was what)
